At least 10 more plants are "on the bubble" in terms of closing before the year 2000.
Minnesota is four years into the 10 year Prairie Island phase-out program, and has already brought on-line or committed to enough alternative energy to replace about half of the electricity produced on Prairie Island.
Now we must stay the course for a renewable energy future.
