VOICES FOR PEACE

Voices for Peace began on December 17, 1998, when the U.S. began
bombing Iraq again. This group has been meeting every Monday since late January,
in front of the post office in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. Both attendance and interest
in this vigil have grown steadily. Now we've had 2 teach-ins at the University, and an
Earth Day march, and there's more to come! There's several wars that need stopping
here!
