Fellow travelers in the Medical Association for Prevention of War (Australia) are greatly saddened at the loss of one of the great and tireless champions of peace, justice and a nuclear-weapons free world, Sam Day. We were privileged to meet Sam in Australia where he campaigned for the release of Mordechai Vanunu, and this was just a fraction of his activity during decades of unswerving commitment to what he knew to be right. We extend deepest sympathy to Sam's family and others very close to him, and give thanks for the life of an outstanding human being.
